Mike Perkis

Mike has over 25 years’ experience in the real estate industry having worked with PwC Consulting and Boots Properties before setting up his own consulting business in 2002.

Specialising in real estate services, sourcing and procurement, Mike has either managed or been involved with over 70 Corporate Real Estate services procurement programmes.

He has also worked closely with corporate occupiers in building business cases and strategies for relocation and consolidation projects, as well as wider real estate strategy and portfolio planning initiatives. Trusted and respected by clients, he has built and maintained many long-term relationships with an impressive list of blue chip clients.

Mike has worked globally across many industry sectors, including oil & gas, financial services, retail and pharmaceutical. Many of his assignments have had international dimensions and he is adept at working across cultural and time zone boundaries. Mike trained and qualified as a chartered surveyor and holds an MBA and a BSc (Hons) degree in Estate Management.

Andy Sergeant

Andy has over 25 years’ experience in the fields of construction, real estate, consulting, outsourcing and technology. Having had leadership roles within both Accenture and Goldman Sachs, Andy was most recently an Executive Director at CBRE where he was responsible for EMEA corporate services clients within the financial services sector.

Andy specialises in the delivery of complex, and often global, change programmes for Fortune 500 and public sector organisations across the technology, banking, financial services and government sectors. Projects have included value realisation and cost optimisation initiatives; right shoring and complex portfolio strategies; CRE business transformation; IT architecture and systems delivery; process and supply chain re-engineering; and the establishment of PMO and relationship management functions.

Andy took a MBA at Reading University and is a chartered surveyor sitting on the RICS Management Consulting Board. He is a regular speaker at industry and training events.

Simon has worked globally (as well as with more specific UK and EMEA focus) across many industry sectors including banking, insurance, technology, public sector and pharmaceutical.

His expertise lies in real estate strategy, cost optimisation, capital efficiency, functional design, strategic transactions, transaction management, real estate outsourcing and financial modelling.

Eduard van Zyl

Director

Eduard brings over 13 years’ experience helping global organisations deliver change within the built and real estate environments. Before joining Incendium in March 2017, he was Global Head of Capital Projects in the CRES Centre of Excellence for Barclays – a role that included global location strategy for the bank.

With a strong technical background, he built up delivery experience with Ove Arup in Africa before moving into a career in project and programme management in London, working with clients in the private and public sectors such as British Land, The London Development Authority and London Underground.

Furthering his interest in Corporate Real Estate, in 2008 he took on the first of many assignments across Asia Pacific for Deutsche Bank, a role that included heading up the Asia Pacific programme management office, leading facilities services in the region and, in 2014, leading the global FM outsourcing programme across the Americas and Asia Pacific.

Eduard is respected as a true global CRE leader and his approach is characterised by innovation, strategic thinking and decisively managing meaningful change. His purpose is to make things better, and he has an excellent track record of delivery.

He has a BSc Civil Engineering degree and an MBA for Construction Executives.

Sam Pickering

Sam joined Incendium in March 2017 to set up and run the resilience business. A high-performance team player, his skill lies in carrying out effective change in dynamic environments and for developing and implementing business strategy across diverse sectors and regions. He specialises in building and managing sustainable programmes that deliver true value to clients.

His career has been extremely diverse, from flying helicopters in the British Army to being Head of Energy and Sustainability at CBRE GCS and Head of Risk Management for Source8. He has also worked for numerous corporate clients including Unilever, Lloyds Banking Group, The Post Office and Rolls Royce.

This diversity gives him the edge within a business that demands outstanding people skills and a solution-based approach. Sam has a deep understanding of the challenges facing the real estate sector and his ability to facilitate change is testament to his analytical and strategic mindset and strong financial, commercial and programme management skills.

Sam is a respected figure within the industry and currently sits on the CoreNet UK Executive Board as a member of the CoreNet Global Knowledge Advisory Panel.

Valerie Bonnin

Valerie is an experienced Corporate Real Estate management advisor and joined Incendium in September 2016 as a Director.

Previously, Valerie was a Director within Deloitte’s real estate consulting practice for 12 years and prior to that acted as a real estate consultant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Valerie brings a wealth of experience across the real estate consulting spectrum; she has deep expertise of developing real estate strategies, shaping and implementing Target Operating Models and advising on all aspects of facilities management, real estate and capital projects procurements.

Valerie specialises in advising clients on the procurement and management of large and complex real estate and facilities management contracts. Over the last 18 years she has advised clients both in the private and public sector in the UK and around the world.

David has built up over 18 years’ experience in the property sector within the corporate, consultancy and supply sides. He initially joined Incendium as a consultant focussing on the development and implementation of real estate data and analytics projects, large-scale real estate programme management roles, and the development of real estate asset management strategies.

Before joining Incendium, he was Global Head of Real Estate Asset Management for Shell and was responsible for the development of real estate retail network strategies across all 31 company-owned markets and advising 39 indirect markets on performance analytics, ownership structure optimisation and value enhancement initiatives.

His previous roles include Director of Real Estate Strategy at Barclays Bank working on the retail and corporate office portfolios globally, and consultancy positions specialising in real estate advisory at Deloitte and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

David is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and CoreNet Global.

Faye Couret-Wilson

Faye is invaluable in providing business support services to Incendium and works across all areas of the business. She has over eight years’ experience in centralised support, covering bid management, bid writing, graphic design, office management and administration management.

Before joining Incendium, her most recent roles include acting as Proposals Manager for Mace’s consultancy bid team, where she managed and designed complex tender presentations for senior stakeholders across a global platform, and as a Senior Bid Manager for FM provider Mitie.

Faye works across both the internal and client-facing areas of the business, using her diverse ability and experience to support the business and team as required.

She is a History graduate with a degree from the University of York.
